The Beach House Suite

Tucked away in the seaside community Chemainus, and perched overlooking the majestic Gulf Islands from Vancouver Island, is the amazing Beach House Suite. The property is newly renovated in late 2022 to ensure guests can enjoy a beach house experience with sweeping views of the ocean and the islands that dot the coastline. The property has been built for both indoor and outdoor ocean view living with spectacular sunrises witnessed from the east facing windows and property.

Indoors you will find 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for both adults and children. The primary bedroom has a comfortable king size bed and ensuite with walk in shower. The second bedroom comes with a new queen bed while the third bedroom has a bunk bed with singles best suited for children. There is a full sized second bathroom located between the second and third bedrooms.

The well appointed living room space provides comfortable seating, bay view windows, AC, and smart TV to watch your favourite streaming services. The open plan living room also has a large dining table that supports six diners with both chairs and bench style seating. The fully equipped kitchen will ensure the chef in your group can create wonderful meals for your group to enjoy with additional seating and table for 4 in the kitchen nook.

Through the doors from the living room you can access the fully enclosed atrium with additional seating to bask in the views and a workstation for your laptop. The sundecks and patio living areas offer some of the most incredible sea views from your own backyard with ample comfortable outdoor seating, lounging furniture, and a gas powered fire pit. Marine wildlife can be observed on air, land, and sea, and whales may be seen from time to time.

The property includes parking for two vehicles and street parking. An electric vehicle charger is available. The suite comes with both a washer and dryer for convenience. A short walk away is Kinsmen Beach Park with playground equipment and a wonderful beach to enjoy.

Downtown Chemainus features world famous murals and many shops and restaurants. The Chemainus Theatre offers dinner theatre experiences. Located in the Cowichan Valley, the heart of Vancouver Island's wine country, local wineries are rated among the best in Canada. Abundant opportunities exist for hiking, off roading, and mountain biking in nearby parks. Mt. Benton Golf Course is in town with many others in the Cowichan region, north to Nanaimo, or south to Victoria.

The Beach House Suite is only a short 1 hour drive south to the Garden City of Victoria with its world famous Inner Harbour and Butchart Gardens, or head north to see the Harbour City of Nanaimo. Access via Duke Point Ferry Terminal is 30 minutes away, Departure Bay Ferry Terminal is 35 minutes away, or Victoria via Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal is about 90 minutes away. International ferry access from Port Angeles Washington or Anacortes Washington is between 60-90 minutes drive away. Nanaimo airport is 20 minutes away or Victoria International Airport is 90 minutes away.

Perfect for vacations, corporate stays, or snowbird retreats for the winter, the Beach House Suite will exceed your expectations. A secondary suite on the lower side of the house can be rented separately with possible other tenants during your stay, though backyard living spaces are separate.
